In case you missed it, here are some recent software updates for
our products.
Kollaborate Server 2026.2.5 - Oct 25 2026
Critical: There is a critical vulnerability in all versions of PHP which affects all versions of Kollaborate Server. This update ensures a patched version is installed. You must run "docker compose build" followed by "docker compose up -d" to ensure PHP gets updated.
After updating, check the admin dashboard to see the current PHP version. It should say at least 8.2.35.
Please see the Installation Guide for how to upgrade an existing version of Kollaborate Server.
Changes in this version:
- Fixed an issue that was preventing the server starting up in 2026.2.4
- Upgraded the PHP version
- Kollaborate is more resilient to temporary database failures or outages
- Scene and Take fields have been added to the Files page (they're hidden by default - right-click the table header to show them)
- Added the ability to import metadata into multiple files at once from a CSV
- Player - Added the ability (in Playback Settings) to turn off showing heatmaps when hovering over the seek bar
- Default workflows are now removed when creating a project from a template. This allows you to create templates with no workflows
- Player - Fixed an issue where auto advance wasn't working correctly
- Player - Fixed an issue where the player may not show custom metadata tags for the file
- Fixed an issue where users could not be imported from a file
- Fixed an issue where the Adobe panel may not work if your Kollaborate Server installation uses an insecure HTTP URL. We fixed the issue so that it works, but we recommend using secure HTTPS connections, which you can do with the built-in LetsEncrypt integration
- Comments - Fixed an issue where line breaks were not working in comments
- Minor bug fixes, tweaks and optimizations
