This tool allows you to manage preference files for Final Cut Studio. Preference files store information about user preferences, window and toolbar placements, and launch settings. Sometimes these can become corrupted, causing problems. Preference Manager allows you to trash corrupted preferences and keep backups of working preference files in order to quickly restore your settings.

What's new in this version (1.0.4)

• Feature: Backups are now stored in compressed files with the extension .PMB. These files can be moved to another machine to easily copy across preferences, button bars, keyboard layouts, etc just by double-clicking the file.
  Important: Your old backups will need to be converted to work with the new version. Go to File > Convert Backups to New Format, select the folders in your backup folder (default is ~/Library/Application Support/Digital Rebellion/Preference Manager/Backups) and they will automatically be converted.
• Tweak: Minor icon tweaks.

• What are the system requirements for the application?
  It is compatible with both Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger and 10.5 Leopard. It has not been tested on earlier versions.
