CinePlay 1.2.2 released - M3U8 support, gestures and auto-pause

Yesterday we released CinePlay 1.2.2 and CinePlay: Kollaborate Edition 1.2.2, minor updates to our iOS professional video players.

M3U8 Playlist support

M3U8 playlists are now supported from the Add Web URL dialog. CinePlay will display a list of videos that updates dynamically if the playlist changes.

New gestures

We've added new gestures based on user feedback. You can now pinch to zoom, tap on the left or right side of the frame to step one frame back and forth or tap with two fingers to step 24 frames.

Auto-pause when adding a marker

Adding or editing a marker will now automatically pause and resume playback afterwards.

Redesigned Kollaborate login dialog

Having to exit the app and go to the iOS Settings app to change Kollaborate Server settings was confusing to users so you can now select the Kollaborate server directly in the login dialog. You can also save presets for common servers.

CinePlay is a useful mobile feedback and review tool, offering timecode support, markers, overlays, masks, cloud support and more. It's available for iOS devices on the App Store and a free version is also available to users of our Kollaborate cloud workflow platform.
