FCS Maintenance Pack Network Admin 1.0.2

FCS Maintenance Pack Network Admin extends FCS Maintenance Pack to allow tasks to be performed simultaneously over a network. The Network Admin interface gives system administrators all the tools they need to manage, maintain and troubleshoot Final Cut Studio systems on their network.

Changes in this version:

Fixed an issue with progress bars not updating after a client wakes from sleep

Fixed an issue with tasks timing out when the client was under a heavy load

Crash Analyzer logs are now received in batches, meaning a much shorter perceptible wait when loading logs for the first time

Redesigned the maintenance request system

Extra preference pane options added to control checking for automatic updates and offering the ability to switch off maintenance requests without hiding the menu bar icon

FCS Maintenance Pack applications can now be password-protected from the Network Admin interface

Network Admin software updater now displays release notes

Standalone applications (e.g. FCP Versioner) can now be updated from Network Admin

Final Cut Studio crash logs can now be submitted to Digital Rebellion from the admin interface

Fixed an issue with removed applications not going to the trash when using FCS Remover

Fixed a crash when updating the client (as a result of this, we recommend updating Network Admin first and then updating the client)

General bug fixes, tweaks and improvements

More control over how often XML copies are generated in order to improve performance

XML copies can now be generated on demand, meaning that you can switch off automatic XML generation to improve responsiveness and then generate the XML data manually at a later date.

General bug fixes, tweaks and improvements
